That's awsome Thomas! Dan was saying that your copper oil lines will help do some extra cooling as well since copper conducts heat really well. Dan and I got my engine put in today... no time for pictures though. You put yours in yourself didn't you? You're an animal.

It should be noted that T H O M A S machined the venturies and rebuilt those carbs himself. (No joke this time).

NICE!!!! Those copper lines look as though they are held on very well. it will be many many years I suspect before any work hardening has any effect.

Thomas - are you going to have enough clearance when you run full left? Alot of cars will have tire rub on the fenderwell, will your hit the lines?
Looks really nice. Good work.

Beautious Thomas. Those early gauges rock.
Please go into detail on the lines, size and the fittings on the ends.
T H O M A S
Mar 5 2007, 12:20 PM
i have to run 1/2 inch spacers in the front for clearance, copper lines are 3/4 i.d and have 3/4 npt on the ends, you can buy 3/4 npt to -12 connectors, the rubber line is -12

I hope that's a freshened up 2.7 there T H O M A S ... The last 2.7 that came into the shop "recently rebuilt" had burnt exhaust valves. According to my notes, leakdown was ... 87% (1), 35% (2), 28% (3), 2% (4), 4% (5), 19% (6).
What're the specs on the 2.7? High compression? cams? give us the juicy details
