what do you guys think about this for a GA 2.0 - to replace a worn out fuel injection system ?? ( stk cam )
Aaron Cox
a bit small for a 2.0 even with stock cam.

it can work.....

hum - i guess i need to stay with FI or go with carbs at leats 40mm ??

between the 30+ year old FI harness/con, fuel injectors, MPS, fuel pressure regulator - i can see why some would want to go with new carbs ??

Jim;
I ran a set of Weber 34's on my 1.7,ran great,milage was even better,( high 30's),it would run 90 mph all day. BUT above 50 it couldn't get out of it's own way, I.E. if you were to pass another car or truck you better have a mile or two to wind it up. Scarry sometimes! Please get a set of Weber 40's or a comparable set of carbs. You will be happer in the end. OR keep the F.I. MY 2 cents Dave slap.gif

I had those same carbs on an old 1.7 of mine. The electric chokes were neat, made cold starts real easy. All I remember is the gas mileage was good but really gutless. They're sitting in a box in my garage now.

I am running 40 IDF's on my 2.0, keep my foot out of it and the mpg isn't bad.

Performance is good.
