Talking with a guy here and he wants some parts I have for sale. He thinks the hydrolic lifter engine he has (a 2.0) has different rods than a 2.0 w/o?
They are all the same are they not?

Connecting rods no. Pushrods maybe. Tell him about Jakes site and have him download the hydro vs solid lifter radio show. He may change his mind.

They are supposed to use different pushrods. But that doesn't necessarily mean that some PO installed the correct pushrods when installing hydraulic lifters.

Pushrods are different. I believe they are smaller in diameter than stock? If that's me your talking about degreeoff that's why I was asking if you had everything including the pushrods.

The hydraulic kit Fat Performance used to sell came w/ lifters & pushrods for the 2.0 that were different from the solid ones. I bought the complete kit 5 yrs ago, including cam & camgear. I believe it's a Webcam, (street/stage1/whatever mild one), & it's still sitting unopened in the front trunk of the 4...
