So... my 16 year old daughter is in Dublin Ireland today (I think it's tomorrow there) - she's playing with her orchestra at a cathedral there, then in Limerick and in London and other stuff that sounds equally awesome. Her high school band was supposed to play and march in the SPD parade in Dublin today... there were issues with their instruments and uniforms not making it to Ireland (not loaded on the plan in Dulles) but they were hopefully borrowing instruments from another high school so they could still march, minus uniforms but with as much SPD and high school apparel as possible. In case you were wondering, there's a Dublin webcam for the parade - not a super-good view but still cool.

Long story with a simple message - I wish I were in Dublin for St. Paddy's Day!
