I've got a Mallory Hyfire 6A on the way. I just printed out my instructions and I've got all my electrical connectors and wiring ready to do the install. Before I dive in, though: I believe the L-jetronic injection system uses ignition pulses to drive it. Will I need an adapter for the injection system to work with my Hyfire? I guess I could wire it up and test it out, but i'd prefer not to install it twice...

where does the l jet get its signal from?

Aaron Cox
nope...
same way your tach can avoid an adapter....

just tee into the signal wire from the pertronix/points to the box (white wire on box iirc)
