I know its been posted before, but can someone advise me on the best material and process in removing tar seals frome my floor pans and trunks. I want to clean them up apply POR 15 and paint. Mike

I used a heat gun and a scraper for the bulk of it. Finished off with some acetone and steel wool.

Heat gun and a scraper will get 98% off easily. Brake cleaner, scpaer and a rag will remove the remainder easily.
