Will a six fit in it?

Dang-
$2500 (perhaps less) I kinda like it...
Put in a hot Raby type 1 engine. I'll bet it wouldn't be slow.

I'm afraid to admit it but I sorta like it too. I'm thinking a big 4? I already have one of those.

it's 1.5 hours away, but just 15 minutes from the cabin. if anyone wants more info, i'll tool out...

How about an almost "original" 917 replica? 2 versions coming out, one the 98% original, the other a monocoque aluminum tub "user friendly" version (with a little more cockpit room) - both identical on the outside to a short tailed 917.
Reported to make driving a GT40 (replica) seem like a lounge chair by compairson! Bad a$$ looking!

If I had the space for it, I'd go get that thing. (I kinda like it too)

The person who named that 917 had REALLY bad eyesight! I can see the appeal in a fugly kind of a way but it is definately aesthetically challenged.

You can still buy them new as well biggrin.gif

Personally I hope I can afford one of the RCR cars when they come out. They'll take real 917 windows and body panels - apparently they're that good.

That should be a prerequisite for making a replica.

The red car in the add looks more like a 908 than a 917.

The thing about the one on craigslist, is that it isn't painted up like a quasi-917, but instead solid color (red). I find that infinitely more appealing than the gulf 917 motif.

Still, a Beck 550 would be a neat project someday.

Has anybody seen the Kraftwerks one with back to back 6s to make a flat 12? I'd love to see some good photos of the engine bay smile.gif
