I'm in the market for a new front scoop (valance) like the one in this pic..

http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?act...t&id=115371

I checked Auto Atlanta and Pelican web sites, but they seem not to cary them.

Anyone know where I can get one? confused24.gif

hey Dr., do you have a better picture of that spoiler? idea.gif

i'd like to see a closeup of the lip.
i need something similar to mate to the bottom of my 916 bumper.

way too much air going under that 916 bumper the way it is right now ...

PS: here is a high quality artist concept rendering of what i want to achieve:

well, thank you for pointing that out! biggrin.gif poke.gif

i actually already knew that. rolleyes.gif

my point is, that 916 bumper stops right where the normal bumper would have the valence mounted.
it ends waaaaaay too high. when i look at it straight from upfront, i can clearly see parts of the front sheetmetal of the car and the front a-arm covers ...

i need to add some 4" or so to the bottom of the bumper to get a nice low lip to keep the air from getting under the car at speed.

if your "snow plow" spoiler fits the bill, i can cut it and glass it onto the 916 bumper ...

I used to have this one on my first 914 and I liked the way it looked.

Andy - haven't seen one in years (thank God). I had one in 74-75, and it threw my 914 all over the place (didn't come down low enough). Threw it in the trash.

This is how it looked. BTW, I was 27 then - so don't make fun of me. Aw hell, can take it - I dish it out don't I?

Why not "dam it" a wee bit shallower and make a splitter.

Just an option....
