I had fun with this today. The current image is temporary. I'll get a better camera tomorrow.

here's a tip from someone who has done hundreds of live webcasts ...

do NOT, i repeat *NOT* let people access the camera directly. it will overload and people will be queued up for eternity.

instead, have your computer poll the camera and drop the new picture in a folder on a webserver overwriting the old picture.
set up a webpage that has a link to the picture. then, every time someone hits that webpage, they'll get the latest picture.

that way, the load of your visitors is on your webserver, which is build to handle hundreds of thousands of concurrent connections and your webcam only has to deal with one single connection.

You could start by making your domain name a link. wink.gif I fixed it for ya.

used to work for a company that did a lot of live music webcasts in germany/england back in the mid/late 90s.
