Found a 75 Carrera, in my favorite 911 color, so I could not let it slip by.
It's #171, and it's been sitting in a garage covered since the early 90's, untouched.
So, gas tank is coming out, all the CIS rebuilt ect. Seller said it ran when parked so I'm hoping for the best
I'll have better pics soon, but for now this is all I got.

Yep, a real one. It's a US car, I believe 177 coupes were made in 75.**correction 395coupes** This is 171, but I don't have my red book in front of me to confirm.
It's decent. Has some rust issues, but nothing terminal. The interior is very nice, and everything looks OE and not changed.

Very cool Ferg!
I like the color too but I confess to be a sucker for unusual colors. It the outside mirror supposed to be body color? Keep us informed on the progress!

Yeah, whatever... that's Sepia. I seriously doubt there is much, if any difference in the two colors.
I don't doubt for a second though that it's probably a pretty nice car.

Ferg,
If real can be defined as physically present, then mine is real too... However, if you are like me, you will find yourself wanting to sell it in a couple of years to fund the 914 and free up garage space. It looks like you have a very nice car on your hand, with a rare color combo.

I've come to the conclusion that even the biggest garage is two bays too small.
Nice looking car, I'd love to see that running a 3.6L

Jenny,
I bought a 74 a couple of years ago. Same color.
Son, John, and wife Joan have given it a nickname.
Turd on 4 wheels. They either like it or do not, I can never
tell with them.
I am going to have to paint it a different color,
but they will probably make the nickname stick.
There is a rustoleum paint color that matches.

"something" will be for sale in the future. I will not know what until I have some wheel time behind the 911.
Seller had one of the nicest orig 66 Shelby GT350's I've seen. It had the perfect amount of patina and was all correct that I could see. He bought it in 1977 in Chico CA for 3900!!!!
On a side note the 911 fired up today. (after a new gas tank, pump, lines, fuel dist ect ect$$$) I should be picking her up tomorrow to spin the wheels for the first time since who knows how long.

Is this the same as 356 Togo Brown?
I know someone with a nice original 1974 911 Carrera for sale at $26,000. It has about 72,000 miles, 1-owner, Black with tan interior. It has won several top side concours. Is the '74 a good Carerra to own?
