Heh anyone have a pic of the clutch cable pulley where it's mounted to I kind of forgot it's been along Time .. Thanks

no pics, but I will try to esplain...
On the passenger side of the tranny.
the bolts/studs are from the diff housing.
The pulley braket is mounted so the pulley is in the rear.
The front of the braket should line up with the clutch fork, so that will help you choose which studs to use.
Hope that help you visualize it.

Yeah, yeah...wiseguy.
It's not aluminum. I can't remember if it was brass or bronze. You metal guys should be able to tell.

Are you kidding?
That nylon pulley is a piece of crap...they flake apart into layers and eventually pop.
Brass would be very nice and less aggrevating.

On the race car, I use a black hight temp delron plastic one from patrick in Phoenix, works like a champ. I have melted one of the stock ones before.

I have no idea what the advantage is other than looks...but when an axle comes off on a road trip and cracks your nylon one, you take what you can get. In my case it just happened to be a guy in Farmington NM that had mad machining skills and a hunk of brass.
That being said, I have heard of a few failing.

Pulleys dont make sounds when they fail, you shouldnt be able to hear it fail silly!
