I have a Mocal remote oil filter stand with a 'gauge' port that needs to be plugged. Anyone know of a source for a 5/8" UNF plug? I've searched Google, but came up with nothing. confused24.gif

UNF is apparently "commonly used for British car senders" according to BAT in Florida. I should have asked him if they stocked a plug...

I had to say that.... =)

UNF means fine threads
UNC means coarse threads

So 5/8 UNF means 5/8-18 (18 threads per inch)
and 5/8 UNC means 5/8-11 (11 threads per inch)

Any decent hardware store should have a 5/8-18 bolt that you can use as a plug.

If they don't import those to napa, I'll have my son Jess get one and leave it for you at your local hdwe store. Jim
