Saw an ad for a "Classic 914 Porsche" on the Phoneix Craigslist for only $1500. I decided to take a look. Here is what I found:

Me thinks the suspension console and rear part of the longs....... Ain't going anywhere.

I think they used parts from an old log splitter to build that!
It looks strong, but not exactly elegant.

It looks none too light either...

Looks pretty damn solid to me! Chassis reinforcement that doubles as a skid plate. Let's go wheelin!
