Hello folks, its getting to be that time again for the Third Annual Bluegrass Classic to be held (this time) on the second week of June, to allow those who had previous engagements on Mother's Day last year attend this year.

I hope to have many people out there this year, it was very nice to see a long line of multi-colored 914s last year.

I have set up a site for the event, however it is merely a page holder for now.

I would ask that people keep this on the first page, as to make sure I can keep up with the thread (search doesnt work well)

If you would like to donate parts email me with subject line of "BGC sponsor" or something to that effect so I can filter out your requests from the mail I get about special pills that I didnt ask for.

This year will be fun I believe with the plans I think we can get.....

June 10-11 are on Sunday and Monday.

He doesn't know how to use a calender yet! I bet he will take that class before he graduates though.

Do you have a rough plan/tour route/destination in mind yet? I might actually be able to participate this year, and have some knowledge of a few local "scenic routes." How about I donate a round of golf at Longview GC in Georgetown, but no 914's for a cart!!!?

That thing is fricking awesome. There is some really big money in Cincinnati and the cars they and their buddies bring are amazing in rarity and how well they are restored. Bet it rivals West Palm Beach and Pebble Beach shows.

My 914 is running, but it is also dying everytime I drive it - usually about 10 miles from home. My AAA membership has more than paid for itself. Everytime we unload it from the flatbed, it starts right up. This is probably the subject for another thread.

Let's see...we have a conflict on 9/10 of June.

Only other date in my book for this to work is 16/17 of June. Ive been getting some things together...

and school projects have been killing my time too....anyway, two choices:

June 9/10th (probably worse of two times, but folks make plans early)
June 16/17 (very likely to occur, much better timetable for me)

I'm in for June 2nd weekend. My car will be drivable but not really done by then.

I have followed this thread since the beginning, and just re-read it twice. I still have NO IDEA when this event is going to occur

the event's unofficial date is the weekend of beautiful pre-summer June 9th and June 10th....however some obligations of mine prevent thsi event from occuring easily on that weekend, so I am highly suggesting a switch to having the event held on the beautiful weekend of June 16th and June 17th.

So the event will officially be held June 16ht and June 17th year two thousand and seven (as long as the venue is available) at the Lexington Horse Park.

I will be bringing either the 914 (again in project status) or my bus (if completed by then)

The official date (for those just tuning in) is June 16th and June 17th 2007.

I hope to see everybody there--I'll be there in some shape or form

This is the weekend we should have it. The weather has been PERFECT! I love how the water beads up on a good wax job.

Don't get your hopes up on the shirts, remember Britt is heading up this thing and he is deeply involved in MUFFLERS. If nothing else, we'll do like last year and drive to eat, drive some more to eat, and talk 914's.
