What are the these circular things with the square in the middle for?

There was a thread on this some time ago. I think it was determined they were used for chassis mounting to the assembly line. If memory serves, some pics were even posted with the "goop" removed. You can turn the plugs out. Sort of cool, but that I think was thier only purpose.

Those that they suspended the tub on the assembley line are the four small

bumps (with a hole in the middle)in the corner of the floor pans. Let me see if I

can find the pic that Andy posted.

actually, that one in the middle near your jack is a placeholder for the sport-o-matic "hump" ...

i wouldn't be surprised either ...

here's another pic from the underside of a very clean sport-o-matic /6.

you can clearly see why them sport-o-matic cars have a "hump" in the rear trunk ...

Frank Pohl from Germany. the car had been sitting for 23 years and was in pretty bad shape. he did a full restoration on it which was finished in 2002 ...
