After the quarter panel and rear trunk repairs the shop is going to install the steel flares. I'd like to give them a set of rockers for them to match up to.
I have a set of the ABS raised letter plastic variety as well as the standard fiberglass stock looking ones.
Which rockers fit best with the AA repro flares?

do NOT use rockers as a guide for flare placement! search for the numerous horror stories about that one!!!!
also - george from AA posted a nice schematic of a few factroy cars (m471 and 916 cars) had their flares placed. it has measurements and all
do a search real quick, and it should appear.

Gotchya Aaron - apprec the heads up
. I found quite a few threads which I gave to the shop doing the work but I don't recall reading exactly which rockers work best w/the AA type repro's. The flares will go on the way they are supposed to - just need to find the which rockers will line up right (not the flares to line up with the rockers, rather the rockers to line up with the flares)

I used the fiberglass flared "GT" rocker from Performance Products. Quality seemed good, and the body shop guys didn't have any complaints, so I would go with them if I had to again!
The body shop HAD to use the rocker and the jack cut out to line up the flares due to the way I had cut out the rear fenders to make it a roller on the 5 lug and fuchs
When we tried this the front flare placement seemed OK, so we took the chance.
here are some pics of the front and rear portions of the rockers and the over all side view ( not to good)
I think that everything lined up, but there were some tense moments after the suspention was re-mounted and the car lowered to the ground after i read some of the horror stories on here!

Kieth - I owe the body shop a visit. I havn't been over there for 2 weeks - but they had started cutting the passenger front to fix the crunch (by welding in the replacement you brought to Movietime - oddly enough). Here's a pic from 2 weeks ago:

I've been so busy getting the orange & black cars sorted out that I havn't minded that it's taking the shop a long time. Plus, I told the guy that there wasn't a rush on it - it could take til July for all I cared. The same shop will prob end up painting it so I won't have it back for some time...
I had planned to strip the orange car and swap most of the parts over to the Green Machine but my pops convinced me to properly sort the orange car's carriage out. And, since he's been doing all the welding I've got no real complaints... Should finish it up sometime this week then prep it for a fresh paint job. The pic below was taken yesterday and is waaaay frightening but we've got the doors lined up great now and the chassis will end up super strong:
