I'm having trouble finding 245/45/16 "R" tires anymore.
I had been running:
225/50/16 on 8 inch wheels - front
245/45/16 on 9 inch wheels - rear
... with about 3-4 psi tire pressure differential.
If I switch to 225/50/16 on 8 inch wheels both front and rear, what suspension setup changes can be anticipated?
I would do this just to use my current collection of front tires in 225/50/16.
TIA

I would think that less tire(less grip/more oversteer) in the rear would mean less rear anti roll bar, less spring and or less pressure...you'll need to find a pressure your 225s like in the rear...best done with a pyrometer... You may need to alter the front as well to balance the car...
245/45R16 R compounds seem to be available at Tire rack....
