I need your help. Long time ago ( internet was not so in use) I saw a conversion of 914 in convertible. Company was USA (Wilco Autorestoretions), but I cannot find if he still exit, if he has a web page etc...

Can someone help to to find this company ?

I was an owner of 1973 2.0 L 914. I left her dying in a shreckyard ( Iam stll biting my fingers) stirthepot.gif

I think your refering to Willhoit in Long Beach CALIF- 1360 Gladys Ave Long Beach , Calif 90804- 562-439-3333- they are know for their work on 356's

Actually it was a company called Wilco Autorestorations. They made the convertible top and frame, plus a rear engine shelf piece and a couple side scoops to fill in behind the door handles.
You removed the engine lid and raked back the windshield. I remember the artcile in Vw magazine. Had a picture on the cover or a 75-76 white 914 with the Wilco top installed and the front turn signals had also been leaned back . Looked really sharp.

I currently have a brochure from them. I also have a Wilco convertible top frame and top material that are for sale.
