I'm thinking not this saturday but the following one (23rd) of having a workfest. Beer and food would be supplied, and you're welcome to bring some. Basically, here's what I need to do, and I'd like to see how many people could show, I know the WCR is coming up.

Basically here's it:

- Drop engine and trans
- Drain Transmission, replace with Swepco and install new plugs.
- Pull pushrods and install new seals.
- Oil change, valve adjust.
- Install delrin solid engine mounts.
- Install 4 new 911 engine sport mounts, 2 for trans 2 for engine bar.
- Reinstall engine and trans!

That'd do it. It can be done in a day with some help, rather than doing it at the shop over 2 days and fighting for a lift.

Who can come and help?

Why is that? Height? Bolt hole diameter? I could get a drill and shims...

I'm going to the WCR this weekend but have the following weekend free.

I'm game for whatever...

Works for me. Albeit a little later in the day. Last day of T-ball for my kids.

Because the sideshifter uses solid outer mounts and rubber inners.

Side shifter on top, tail shifter on the bottom.

Yeah, I know, I've got the PET manual and latest retail prices too. I'm replacing with SOLID inner mounts. Is there any reason why the 911 engine mounts will not fit or something on the outside?
Aaron Cox
pretty sure that if the whole engine bar is going to be moving around it will interfere with the shiftrod going thru the hole in the engine bar.

its only money.... give it a go LOL

the reason why the sideshifter bar is mounted solid is so your shift-rod doesn't get knocked around while driving ...

currently have that problem with a broken engine mount... sucks. I wish there were a 'semi solid' option for engine mounts. That's what I'm trying to achieve...

Ah well. Can't put this off too far, let's see who can commit to what date.
