Full Version: Easier way to install seats?

ok...its becoming a real PITA trying to install the seats back on their brackets...the holes JUST DONT LINE UP!!! anyone have an easy way of doing it/trick??? or one of grandmas home remedies biggrin.gif ?? thanks alot ---JON

If the runners were removed from the seats and reinstalled, loosen the allens remove the rack from the car and line it up that way. If not then just slightly grease the tracks and wiggle it on. They both have to start at the same time though and grease is very necessary!

Im not sure of what you mean george, but im trying to reinstall them to the brackets on the floor of the car....the bracket on the seat is already mounted, but mounting them to the floor is a problem...im not sure if this is what you meant....thanks alot ---JON

He means, loosen the mounts on the seats so they can be made to match the ones installed in the car. Then, tighten the ones on the seat.
