Looking great!
Make sure you have all the bolts ready when you lift it into place (that isn't the best time to start looking for them.
Life starts to get good when you do get those 4 bolts installed and tightened up.
Good job.
!!!WARNING!!!
BE EXTRA CAREFUL WITH THOSE REAR JACKSTANDS!

He downloaded your picture, resized it and re posted it.
To resize a picture to post on this and some other forums, I open it up in Microsoft Photo editor (comes with office), and resize them to 1024x768 pixels.

Sure they do, but how about a safety for the safety? I mean... a secondary object incase the jackstand tips. Something like a tire rim so no one becomes a mickey mouse pancake.

Is it bolted in yet?
I remember having to install them on jackstands. Hell I did mine the last time on jackstands....
Anyway, make sure your jack (with the motor on it) goes high enough.
I recall having to get the engine under the car, then lowering the car a bit so the jack (with the engine on it) could lift the engine up into the car. Later I got a higher lift jack and it was no longer a problem.
(Just a thought to avoid a pitfall).
I know you have not installed too many 914 engines.
Just go slow and steady and stay clear of heavy things that may fall.
Be careful as the engine tin goes between the rear suspension ears. It may be tight, but it will fit.
Again, make sure you have all the bolts ready to insert and tighten before you start to lift. (It's also a good idea to get your wrenches ready as well)
Good luck.

Way ahead of you. Got the tee shirt.
Already ran into that, borrowed a second jack from a guy at work today so I can lower the body down... SOB!
