Anyone have any experience with the Mallory YL-541-HP dual-point distributor? Is it any good, will it work well in a Type IV? I also have a Bosch 010, how about that one?

I had one on my 2.0 and it worked fine, you must use carbs naturally. I only had it because it was on the car when I bought it. I can't really say there is a benefit over any other points setup.
They make a unilite conversion for it also.

I'd go Unilite, you'll prolly never have to touch it again. Points need attention sometimes. I had a Unilite in my pickup and I didn't even change the cap for 6 years, never had a problem.
