I am heading to the powdercoaters today to drop off tinware/bumpers/valences. Should I get the heater pipes that hook up to the shroud/exchangers done as well? Will a standard powder be ok on these guys or will I need something that will take a little more heat?

I just had all my heater duct work P coated. I think it will be fine from a heat stand piont.

most powdercoating places can coat in high-temp powders as well, but they are rated at 1000 degrees with 1200 degree peaks. I think that would be alittle overkill.

Off it all goes then. Hmmm...I keep thinking about the gas tank. Should it go to? I know some guy goofed an expansion tank, so I am thinking about just painting the tanks. Thoughts? Anyway to keep the expansion tank from ballooning?
