Hi All,

Finally brought my new 'teener home today after 9 mos of searching. I'll post pics and woohoo's later. Anyway, I knew the shifter was really out of adjustment as it was hard to find first and reverse. I went to pick it up to bring it home today, and when i started it up, I couldn't find reverse.... then I couldn't find first. Ended up limping home with second gear starts, and no parallel parking. So, I searched the forums, and the classic threads page, and I can't seem to find an article on replacing the shifter bushings, and readjusting the system. Dr. E alludes to doing it before pulling your tranny and sending it to him, but I can't seem to find the right thread. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!!!!!!!

Check the Pelican Parts tech article section. They have instructions on how to replace the bushings and adjust everything.
