http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2448118759This is almost the car I've been looking for a six conversion but it has rust at the base of the sail panels. Does that scare away buyers? It sure scares me. I mean even though this car is pretty nice overall it's going to need an expensive rust repair and a paint job.

I saw that too Kevin, but it does have a side shift tranny. Wonder what the engine is?

it looks to me the hole at the jam was painted over? what? the cover on the trany is busted. start the parts bill with that, $40. a carbed 1.7 states the ad. no reciepts so it could be just about anything. i bet the "1.7"prob based on a case #.

If anyone needs me to take a look. Let me know.
This is where the 914club can be of a rreal benefit to ebay bidders. We should offer to examine cars that a fellow 914club member is serious about bidding on, and to keep them from making a mistake or getting a realy good buy.

Wrong front engine mounts. They converted the car and kept the stock tail shift rubber mounts out on the end.. it probably has the rubber mounts on the block also...LOL
That rust doesnt both me. Pretty easy fix and it has NOTHING to do with the frame rail.
I could drive this car back next weekend from Wash/Oregon for you Anthony after I deliver the van.

I'm not bidding. Thanks for the offer though! If the price of the car reflected the rust damage then I might be interested.
