Full Version: 1975 914 bad fuel guage

i have this rectangle tank on top of my fuel tank - it is held on by a circle of small screws at the filler neck and one more screw off to the side.

do i need a special sealant or gaskets when i put this stuff back together?

any other tips?

Nope it has a rubber gasket between both tanks

so go ahead and remove all the screws i mentioned and the gas guage float thing will be under there?
