Full Version: Good 914 shop in Dallas
I am looking for a good 914 shop in the Dallas area to get a valve job done. Has anyone ever used Zims or know of a good shop?
If you can't do the job yourself, and can't talk anyone reputable to help you do it, go to Wes Heldreth at H & H on 15th Street in Plano -
He works on a lot more 914's than Zim's, and is a lot closer to you as well -

I stopped at Zim's for parts one day and he said they won't work on 914's unless you've already been a long term customer.

They work on 914s now. But the progress is slow because I have a full time job during the week, and I only work at Zims on Saturdays.
