this one seems to be a one off

a guy from Hungary took a well known 1/43 Schuco Porsche 916 and modified it to the famous '71 Monte Carlo car #7

it's not absolutely original in some details (check out the rare option "mud flaps" biggrin.gif ), but it's really cool work

That's a really special car. It started live as a real 914-6 GT and had some race history. Long after this, the german Uli Menschick (from DB Motorsport) built a Speedster of it. He chopped the Targa bar and made a construction that he could still use the Targa top.
For the engine he choos a 2.7 Carrera with 210 HP. First he used 7+8 inch Wolfsrace rims, then he changed to 9 + 11" Fuchs with 255/50-15 and 285/40-15 blink.gif

Unfortunately I don't know the VIN nor the current location of the car. About 10 yrs ago it was for sale in France ...

There is a 1/43 Resine model from Homburg ... pretty rare ... not in my collection sad.gif
