Been wanting to run something decent looking for my breather. My breather has just the push-on and clamp hose barbs.

1. Is there a nice way to run and clamp a braided hose to the barb?

2. What is the AN size of hose that is equivalent to 1/2".

3. Is there some other kind of hose that you guys are using that looks nice?

The AN numbers are 16th's, approximately. A -8 hose's ID is sort of like 8/16, or 1/2". The actual ID of -8 is 0.44", which should allow you to slip -8 over a 1/2" barb.
You could use real braided stainless with hose clamps, they make aluminum hose clamp covers that look like an fittings, or you could use hose cover that looks kind of like the real stuff, jeg's, summit, and any muscle car type place should have some, or you could go whole hog and pay the money for real braided stainless. -8 at pegasus is $5.49 a foot. http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/group.asp?GroupID=PLUMAN

What kind of hose do you recommend? I didn't understand if you were saying to just use some rubber hose and put a sleave on it. Is that what you meant?
