Anyone got some pictures of how they did this? Any tips?

Thanks

First question would be "Why"?

I removed what was left of the battery tray after 30 years of rust got to it. I really just want to get it away from the heat. I know it has been done on most of the autocross 914's that i have seen, but I didn't get any pictures of it.

Personally, I wouldn't move it so far. I moved mine to the front of the rear trunk for now. Will put a small sealed battery (like an Odyssey PC680) back near the original location later.

The front trunk is a long ways.... Use appropriate heavy gauge cables and secure it. No special tricks really.

Here is a picture of mine. It is what it is.

It will never leak acid on my car again. Maybe inside the plastic case, but not on sheet metal.
