I'm hearing two different stories. Does the throttle body on a '74 2.0 have one or two vacuum ports????

I looked at a late 74 TB, and it only has one vaccum port in the rear. It may be one of those early / late model year things.

My understanding is that the '73 had two .... one port = vac advance 2nd port = vac retard. Somewhere after the '73s were produced, the engine gurus decided the advance was not useful, so they eliminated it. The workers, for a short period of time were still connecting the green? hose up the the advance side of the vac pot, but it was not connected to anything.
