I finally got my 914 running! Only one issue. I'm putting all the things that the stupid mechanic took apart back together. I am totally confused about where the ECU goes. Does anybody have a pic or can tell me in great detail, (top, bottom, front, back) where the darn thing goes? I can't find any original holes that match up to the unit. A pic would be perfect! There should be a bracket off the battery tray, it goes against the firewall behind the battery and hangs on the bracket there. Good luck.

I think the dumb mechanic forgot to give me the bracket back. No wonder I can't figure it out. Anyone got a pic of the bracket? I may need to fabricate one.

Here you go, this is a 1972 model buy they were pretty much all very similar.

probably easier to buy one than fabricate. With all the carb conversions out there there has to be a supply available.
