I know what a Crosley coupe looks like by sight, but for the life of me can't remember what my wife told me as I left for work today

I remember this car, growing up in So. Cal. my neighbor had one and would take us kids for a ride, actually they were not common, but you would see them now and then; this was in the late 50' and 60's. There was another car of similar size called American Bantam, it looked like someone designed it for a comic strip; it was made in PA. in the 40’s and was part of the Jeep development.

Those wire wheels/knockoffs look very British to me, like Dunlop wheels. They appear to be similar to what TR-4s, early Elite and Elans and Morgans were shod with. Could that be a Brit chassis with a late '50s US design motiff? The circular emblem on the tailfin bears some similarity to the Triumph emblem from the '50s-'60s. So my guess is........a Triumph based show/concept car from the late '50s.
