OK, neebe here,
I just bought a 71 914 project and I want to replace the cable, the old cable is routed from the peddal,to the tunnel under the engine then up thru the tin(binding, kinking) then to the carbs. Is it missing some kind of linkage that bolts on to the tranny then from the linkage (a straight shot) thru the tin then to the carbs. I have a tail shifter if that makes a difference.
thanx in advance

The speedo cable goes to the tranny, but not the throttle cable.

Thanx for your respond but I found where the sppedo cable goes and its not what Im talking about.
Isnt there an arm-linkage that ONLY (or I believe) bolts onto the tranny and the cable coming from the gas peddal connets here on one end then another cable from this arm-linkage goes back up connecting to the carbs?
