I hang at the PCA tent mostly, but will find Jake & Beth, Rob & Nell, TC (since I missed you at Lime Rock) Don't know how I 'll recognize anyone but Jake & Beth but I would like to meet all you folks. My car will be at the Porsche Corrall and anyone can leave me a note if they want to meet up. Maybe we should try to define a specific time and place to all meet up....

So, if you're a PCA member you can park in the Porsche coral? I assume you still have to pay the $40 for infield parking.

You don't have to be a PCA member to park in the coral, just call Road Atlanta and order the Porsche Platz tickets. Parking is only $25 for Porsches. You must arrive in your Porsche however, or you will be sent packing! They were not amused when I answered the question "And how many Porsches will you be bringing?" with Oh, I'll be driving a Toyota van, Porsche is on jackstands you know. If you don't have a running car and are a PCA member they will allow you into the tent but you will not get lunch.

Scott, I'll be at the tent, top of the Esses and looking for Jake as well. I'll be the the sunburned red head with the floppy hat!

I would like to make the rendevous point at the PCA corral, but I'm open to alternatives (maybe Jakes #41 spot on the backstretch or somewhere in between like the semi-circular seating area just north of the infield tunnel between turns 9 and 10a)

The PCA coral is fine with me. It's in the middle so, should be a short walk for most.

I like the idea of the PCA corral also. How do we determine which sunburned drunks are us?

I've got a "curvenmeister" hat from the old club days I can wear. I think if we settle on a time it won't be difficult to pick us out. In the tent there will probably be activity at that time, but if the corral is at the usual location there will be a metal grandstand between the parking area and the track and next to the tent more or less. I'll be there -the PCA grandstand- at 10 on Saturday with the navy curvenmeister hat on. I'll PM my cell number to all tomorrow.

Rick(rfeurst911) is on the far left and I'm (carr914) 3rd from the left. I think Brian (bcheney) who took this picture is coming to Petit as well. You will have to image what he looks like. I will be there Thursday about Noon. I have a Golf-cart rented if anybody wants to play bumper cars.

10 am at the PCA corral sounds great! Rob and I have the Porsche Platz Parking Permit. We thought we would be there today (friday), but due to some 914 issues...we are leaving tomorrow. We will be at the track at 7 am Saturday morning in the corral. Rob is bringing his black 914 (that is still under restoration). He is having so much fun with it!

I wandered over to the PCA corral around 10:00 but it was packed and I didn't recognize anyone. There were about 5 914's there I ended up talking to a few guys there. The race was fantastic the Porsche Spyders gave Audi a good run for their money. And Porsche beat Ferrari in GT2. My son and I had a great time.
