Has anyone done an upgrade on their 70-72 parking brake
by replacing the folding handle with a non-folding handle?
Is this an easy task?

I have a '70 with a folding handle that needed replacing. I couldn't find one and a friend gave me a one piece. I put it on, direct bolt on, no changes, works fine.

Sounds kind of high tech for a teener. Is that variable or just on and off. If my front pads wear out on any of my vehicles I use the hand brake to drive into a shop without damaging my rotors. Probably couldn't do that with an electric setup.
