Hey guys, my dad fired a link off at me today. These look to be some rebuilt engines...they seem cheap....I assume you get what you pay for, what do you guys know of importmotor?

I did a search and of the two pages of stuff I didn't find much info on "import motor".

So, I take it they are your typical cheapo reman shop that cleans it up and puts it back together without doing much machine work and without replacing anything??

Consensus is that they are a total crap shoot.

A few people have bought them and had no problem. Other people bought them and had major problems, and ZERO customer support from the vendor.

There is a huge difference between an engine program based on research and devlopment Vs one based on the bottom line.

I agree and anyone who thinks a 2056cc motor will give Cobra performance is either stupid or has never seen a Cobra run...much less driven or ridden in one.....
