A friend of mine lives in that neighborhood. The whole subdivision is built on fill dirt, and this is the second time this has happened.

Nothing wrong with fill dirt..... as long as it is compacted to a 90% or greater dry unit weight.....
Geotechnical Engineering is cool stuff.
