Need a report and pics. I hope to be there next year with the Boxster. My trans is being rebuilt in the 914, yes, again, otherwise I was planning on being there this year. How's the bar b que?

the BBQ was yummi.
the spec boxsters were fun to watch, pretty level playfield.

all our cars were doing great until the last race on the last day.

Sam's GTS 911 gave up with the transmission stuck in 3rd and some destinct burning smell.

Tom's GTS 911 ate the ignition sensor. but not until after a heroic from last to first race!
he qualified first and we were joking around that it would make things more interesting if he started last, so he did.
about 6 laps into the race, he had managed to pass some 15 cars and was leading the pack again. untill the sensor came flying ...

anyways, good weekend!

I had never been up to the (somewhat) new Karting track. I have seen race shops down on the track level, over behind the billboards going into Turn 11.

I walked into the Race Simulator shop, WOW! There was a guy upstairs *driving* a Ferrari 550 at LeMans. The sounds that simulator made were very Cool.
THAT place would make a GREAT part of a 914 get-together!
