I am dropping my engine for the first time utilizing the one person Pelican method. Furniture cart is under the car. The transmission mounts have been undone. Unfortunately, when I go to remove the engine bar bolts, the bolts are just turning without coming out. Help!!!

there is a not on top - jim
make sure you remove ground strap from trans to body - last thing.

I thought the nut was welded and that I broke the weld. How in the hell are you supposed to get a wrench in there to hold the nut?

You just reach up in there and hold it with a 17mm wrench.
