today I drove a nice little tour from just about 50 miles, but it wound up to more than 6,600 feet
I found a nice place to take some photos, this was at about 5,000 feet
the bottom of the valley - with the river - is at about 2,200 feet

that's just amazing. if the teener looked that good while parked, i bet it looked even better when it was going through the mountain roads..

but there are about 8 months where lots of things might happen ...

I would love to make one, but I don't have a passenger - and believe me, filming while driving these roads is a kind of suicide action
unfortunately the weather preview says that we will get first snow tomorrow, so it seems that the season is over now ...
but I will keep this project in mind
