Click to view attachmentMy car was origionally black, and I'm about to have it repainted. Trunks and engine bay were not changed. My buddy can probably match the paint using the origional paint code, but was just wondering what the grill should be.

the grill should be black or maybe flat black but as delivered from the factory was not the same color as the body. you should keep the "eggplant" color (aubergine)

Is that sail trim painted black or just not there? ( Can't tell from pic )
BTW... I'm repainting my Ivory '74 Laguna Blue, and paintiing the grill to match, with black lettering!!

The sail still has the vinal and the metal trim pieces were painted black by the PO. I have since removed the paint and returned to origional. I'm somewhat torn about the color change. I like the current color but it's a cheap version of an Earl Shibe job.
