So I got the cross bar linkage in. It's not adjusted, and likely I will need to take it off and put it back on 10 times before I get anywhere close. It's my first time with carbs. I am not sure I have the linkage right, and there is some interference with the coil. So I need to sort that out.

I connected the clutch, and the tranny linkage. Seems to shift well. I put tranny fluid in too.

I added oil the engine as well.

Here is what's left:

Bracket and routing for accelerator cable.
Finish fuel lines to carbs.
Clean up fuel lines underneath (return needs a better plug).
Electrical wiring (starter, dizzy, battery. I did make the fule pump jumper already)
Heater boxes to the HEs (need some of those hoses too. anyone have a cheap header for sale?)
charge battery
set timing
spin it to build oil pressure
try and start it
tune with carbs.

Getting really close now. piratenanner.gif

What I got done today.

Pulled the oil strainer, refinished the cover. Took almost 5 minutes to get up from the creeper.

Not rocket science, but doin' OK for an old fart!
