Custom made and painted for me out of resin. It's about 11 inches long.
It's a cross-section model (only about 1 inch thick!)
Anyone care to guess where it came from and how I found it?

Ha! Funny... but I don't think they do anything "custom" there. They took the "custom" out of customer!

If you found it on eBay 'PORSCHE' was not spelled correctly in the listing.

I'm probably going to make some sort of framed display with it... Maybe with a before and after picture of the conversion... serial number...
I don't know...
Here's another clue... I found it through a really unique website posted on 914club about 3-4 months ago.

Oh... VegasRacer is smart....
The "builder" doesn't speak English. Luckily I have a friend that can read and write Japanese. (He has an IBM laptop that can type Kanji (Japanese characters). He acted like my translator.
Unfortunately, I don't think the builder wants to make a business out of this. He does it in his spare time.

What did I win?
I have surfed / shopped / translated most of the European 914 sites, so I knew it was not from there.
Nice score Karl.

I will try again and see if I can get any of their English speaking members to participate here...
http://www.914.jp <--- one of two Japanese 914 clubs.
It's funny to go and look at their site. They post stuff about the same topics as we do...
One guy is building a new garage... I can't read any if it... but I know it has to say something about... "Pics of my new Porsche Playhouse"

And they have a guy named Miles-san... he is really weird and babbles about crap nobody cares about. They think he is a clown too!
And they have this one member that can't take clear pictures... They all make fun of him because he is supposed to be good at taking good photos since he is Japanese (no offense intended towards our Asian members).
