I managed to get my six running well enough to take it to the final AX of the season at Marina today. While the engine performed flawlessly, the same could not be said of my suspension. The car had no turn in, lots of roll, pulled violently right under hard braking, and practically pulled a wheelie under acceleration. Spectators watching reported seeing the inside front wheel "a foot off the ground".

The consensus from collected 914 experts at Marina today is that I should stiffen my rear springs to 350#, stiffen my front torsion bars to 23mm, and install adjustable rear spring perches.

My questions to the collective wisdom of the 914-World board are:

1. Are these spring rates the right ones - for a 914-6 with about 270hp - used mostly for autocross - running 9" cantilever slicks on 15x7s all around.

2. Where can I get adjustable spring perches at a reasonable price. I see that ground control has them for about $210.

Thanks,
