Hello,

I just purchased a car withe a european CIS 2.7 litre engine (1975). The unit has domed pistons.

Can anyone tell me how much HP this unit might have?

Cheers

I have the same engine. The stock CIS pistons are semi domed and are necessary to use the CIS as they help keep the fuel atomized. Stock setup is about 165hp. If you change to fully domed pistons which ups the CR, and throw on some carbs I have heard of 225hp

I was wondering if you were going to chime in.
