Original Bosch 3 port pump starting to leak in the usual place around the connector. Made a few calls for a replacement. Review of past posts say to stay away from a rebuilt unit, cannot afford a new one for over $500. Also read that 75/76 pump will work, but they are not all that cheap. Besides the usual vendors have these on back order. We need a pump now. A past post recommended using a Mallory 4060FI. It actually has 3 ports, but are not sure if the "bleed port" is to be used per their diagram. Any comments? These pumps can be bought for $150. If they can be used what is the correct way to install. We already have relocated the pump to below the fuel tank by the steering rack. Car is a 72 with stock 1.7 with stock D-Jet.
