Hi,
OK I put an elec pump in.
It was out of a beetle...lol he wont miss it.

Anyways.
I mounted the pump on the same bolt that holds the washer tank in place...it squirts, but poorly.
I may need to mount it below the lower hold on the tank.

I had one of the one way valves on the passenger side that was all clogged up...replaced it with one I could blow through...still no squirt over there.

And the drivers side squirts pretty slowly and low down on the windshield.

So, two questions.
Do I need the one way valves now that I have an elec pump?
How do you aim these POS sprayers???

Rich
Spoke
I used an aftermarket pump. Cheap and squirts like hell. I mounted it with a tiewrap on the cowl support beam. I left the one way valves on. I don't use the washer. Just need it for PA inspection.

read my article? you need to drill a hole in the cap. it's airtight. if 'ya don't the pump is trying to suck a vacuum ...

a pin or needle or safety pin works wonders on the nozzles. the tiny metal inserts are moveable, you can aim 'em any way you want ...

Drilled the hole, even took out the insert to do it...bad idea..
anyways. hole is clear through.
I will use the good old 1960's pin in the squirter tool...I just dod not want to screw them up.

Thanx
Rich
