It was rust welded and primed 22 yeras ago and has been resting (indoors) since then...


the trunks full of details...


every detail in its own plastic bag..


every bag labellet with its content...


new discks, bearings, shocks and brake tubes all around...


underside...


boot...


...all this was made 22years ago by the previous owner, thanks Hans!!!

I'm slowly getting through every square inch of this thing. It only has 45K miles on it (I think). It's a "73 1.7. I hope you like it.

I had the Inka Gold car 1975 1.8 I am thinking about building an electric 914.

Please don't make that a electric, it's to nice, just my opinion, but I really like car

Hey! I do remember your perfect white 6. It was the envy of many. I am thinking about building one from scratch for the electric. I have seen a couple forsale on ebay converted. The body and interior would need to be done. I am not convinced the electric will provide good enough technology to last more than a couple years. I have heard the vbatteries will cost 2500.00 to replace.

Here is my effort. It is a work in progress and I always during the Summer try to keep it drivable as much as possible. I have redone almost all the interior and will start on the front end this Winter.

Anyway here is the car on my favorite road. Glendora Mountain Road.

I remember when this car was for sale I just didn't have the 30K (or even enough to try and make a deal)... I wanted to go lust after it in person, but refrained, as I would have unfortunately been just a tire kicker.
Agreed, one of the nicest 914's I have ever seen!!! Congrats to the new owner...

Here is my '71 I just bought from the Original owner. Needs a bit of love and a bath but it only has 84,000 original miles on it

Santa came early this year,got some new wheels. Fikse FM10 17x10" in the rear with 17X9" front.

Just completed recovering the doors. Used James' Fiberglass pre-cut panels, 1/2 foam and had Univeral Marine Upholstery sew in the SC stiching.

I need to lower the front of the 914. I put new shocks and springs on it and it's obviously too high in the front parked next to the six.

It's been awhile since I posted a photo. I just completed a Raby #9550 camshaft replacement along with a few motor modifications & a little more detailing.

I also added a factory O.E.M. Rear Fog Light!!!

Here is my car right after I got it home from the junkyard I rescued it from. $200 "wasted"



I added a battery, checked the oil and hit the key...



it fired up and I drove it around the yard.



I have a 2.0 crank and rods, an extra 1.7 case and plans for something more.



There is not a lot of rust, it is pretty straight.

Nice score! I like Adriatic Blue. Are you going to keep it the original color under the black?
