First Post of my Ravenna Green 1974 914 2.0. I have had it for 13 years. It belonged to a good friend of mine who purchased it in high school from the original owner. 124K original miles. It has been a roller coaster over the past three years, but is my favorite in the collection and runs very well. Cheers!Click to view attachment Click to view attachment

Hello,
I want to have some nice pictures of my car, so I go to here (in Germany)

https://nook-2m.de/

I take some photos with my cell phone, here is one of them.
I get the right ones from the photographer next week.
Isn't it nice? ;-)

Here's my 73 that I finally finished after 42 years! Next project is to build or purchase a much more powerful engine. The 1.7 is fun, but I Autocross this, so more power and higher revs would be nice!Click to view attachment

Despite having documented the transformation of my 914 at PP this past year, I feel I owe it to the 914 World community + website for me share with you the first pictures of my 914 GT Evocation as completed... It has taken a year since I bought the car, and believe most of the modifcations have been completed. I really like how it has come out and no - the top with the roof rack will actually be used sparingly.

PS - had to resize these 2 pictures about 4-5 times in order to be able to post them?!?

Dang OttoB - that is a ridiculously cool car.

Here is my 1972 that I got last August. I don't know how I would have figured out how to fix half the things that were broke on this car without the help of this forum. A big thank you to all the contributors! At this point it's running good and the major rust issues are fixed. Time to drive it!

It's a work in progress... I keep it clean though.

@HaraldD - Which wheels are those on your car? And tire size?

Thank you, looks great. I think I will stick with the 14s and invest in better tires and maybe some spacers to push em out just a tickle.

I appreciate ya! I’ve documented the build at PP as the software there is friendly for posting the many 100’s of pics I posted in the process of this transformation during the past year. It’s quite a drastic change from how it looked when I first got it. The common theme has been that neither in neither on this forum nor at PP, much people have been supportive or happy for me (like you), or much of anything else. And… I know it’s neither me nor the car… since there has been such an amazing outpour of thumbs up, compliments, good vibes, etc on the various FB 914 posts that I shared these pics at.

All good - I enjoy the fruits of my labor regardless if anyone gives 2 sh*ts about it. I only hope and wish and send good vibes to all - even if for reasons only known to !?!, they’re not reciprocated.
Steve
I haven’t posted here in a while. My car has come along way since 1986. From a 2.7 six with Weber’s to the current 3.6 motor.
